“ We are writing to thank you, on the completion of a really outstanding building and re-structuring project at our home in New Malden.

We had project managed a loft conversion at our previous property but we were aware from the outset that this was going to be a far bigger and potentially more disruptive undertaking with significant building work affecting almost every room in the house! We therefore had some anxiety and apprehension about how we might cope with the potential disruption and mess!

The team knew that, with a young family attending local schools, we were unable to move from New Malden for the duration of the 4 month project and would have to stay in-situ. We were also unable to go away for any significant time as most of the work took place during term time.

However, the in-depth project plan was clearly designed to ensure minimum disruption and inconvenience to us and was structured in such a way that we could literally relocate our ‘essential living space’ when necessary (as the building work moved progressively from ‘top to bottom’) and carry on with our normal family routines.

The quality of the finished work speaks for itself – and we would be happy to show any prospective clients of Mode around our fantastic new loft space, bathrooms and downstairs area as testament to the team’s professionalism, expertise and attention to detail.

Having builders, joiners, plasters, electricians, etc. in your home for a number of months can be hard – and there are many horror stories you hear before embarking on a big project to back that up! But, our core project management team – as well as any sub-contractors – were, without exception, polite, friendly, cheerful and above all, tidy!

Having our team around never felt like an intrusion – and from day one, we established a great working relationship and a really open line of communication so we felt constantly informed of any issues or proposed changes to the timings or original plans.

In a nutshell, the work was completed on time, to budget and we are delighted with the finished result. What more could we ask for? Thank you Mode.”
